About the Course
The Standard First Aid CPR C/AED (SFA) course provides advanced skill building and knowledge in responding to emergencies. CPR C/AED refers to CPR training for infants, children and adults. Our goal for this course is to help you build confidence in recognizing and responding to emergencies both at work and at home.
In this action-packed course learners will cover the topics of:
- Responding to Emergencies
- Check, Call Care
- Choking
- Circulation Emergencies
- CPR/AED
- Breathing Emergencies
- Wound Care
- Head, Neck, Spine and Pelvis Injuries
- Bone, Muscle and joint Injuries
- Sudden Medical Emergency
- Environmental Illnesses
- Poisons (inclusive to Naloxone training)
This is a physical course, and learners are expected to participate in all aspects of the course including floor exercises and scenarios.
